TINNI SNÅRE (b. 1980)

Artist
I'm Tinni Snåre, a visual artist based in Finland. My work — ranging from paintings to sculpture, design, public design and collaborative art projects — has been an ongoing exploration of emotion, presence and human experience.
I began working as a freelance artist in 2019 alongside my main profession as a lawyer, and I continue to balance logic and structure with freedom and intuition. I am currently working on a project that explore compliance, leadership and creativity — examining the tension between freedom and constraint.
For my large scale paintings I mixed my own paint using acryclic, charcoal and limewash for the right touch - I enjoy bringing emotion and narrative into visual form. My work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions — including Emotions Faced at the Sibelius Museum in Turku and Serenity Unveiled and Mutiny within at Galleria Dromig in Helsinki — and my pieces are part of collections in public spaces, galleries, cafés and private collections.
I'm also passionate about collaboration and public art — when wandering through the city center of Pargas, you'll experience some of the results of these collaborations.
Whether in a painting, a sculpture, or a shared artistic moment, my aim is to make space for feeling and learning — to invite the viewer to experience something that words alone cannot fully express.
